After singer Mariah Carey gave birth to twins on Saturday, husband Nick Cannon took to Twitter to give fans an update. We now know their gender, weight and length -- but still no names. Although it remains a mystery, on Tuesday Carey tweeted a few clues to help fans cope with the suspense.
“So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc. I had 2 C if any of the #lambily wanted 2 guess!!!” she tweeted.
The new mom calls her admiring fans “lambs,” but she still isn’t ready to share her babies’ names with the “lambily” or the rest of the world quite yet.
The game continued an hour later, as she revealed yet another piece to puzzle: “ Both begin w/M's!!!! : )”
The couple has used the Twittersphere to give a constant play-by-play of the birth and show their appreciation for their supportive fans.
“I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies! they're doing great,” Carey tweeted.
So far, there is still no word on the names of "#dem babies" (as Carey has been lovingly calling them) but we'll all surely be the first to know!
