feastRen Food and Drink Festival is delighted to announce its two key events partners for East Renfrewshire?s Food and Drink Festival are Whole Foods Market Giffnock and The Cook School Scotland who are both playing a major role in this year?s Festival.
The East Renfrewshire Food Festival, re-launched as feastRen Food and Drink Festival, is launching a huge programme of over 75 events that will run from 1- 16 September.

The centrepiece of the Festival will be the feastRen Festival Weekend in Eastwood Park, Giffnock, on the middle weekend 8/9 September. Indoor and outdoor areas will include, The Whole Foods Market Craft Beer Marquee and feastRen Village Market, The Cook School Street Food Style Market and kid?s tent, a live band, theatre shows and demo tents, livestock, a Crafter?s Co-op, BBQ stand and Tom Lewis?s Fish and Chip Van!
This year?s event is for the serious foodie, families and fun lovers.
?As well as a packed out programme with lots of seriously high profile chefs, feastRen is also launching a Food and Drink Directory and a ?Best of the Fest? award ceremony which is being launched on Monday 12 August. Watch this space for details!
High profile chefs include, Joe Queen, Gary McLean, Jacqeline O?Donnell, Tom Lewis, John Quigley, Ian Brown, Hilary Harris and Seumas McInnes. Guy Cowan and Ryan James will also be doing a celebrity cook off!
There are all kinds of events taking place in local restaurants, hotels, in libraries, Whitelee Windfarm, Eastwood Park Theatre, Barrhead Main Street and Whole Foods Market in Giffnock as well as The Cook School in Kilmarnock.
From whisky tastings, Kosher style cooking, Pakora and Curry demo?s, Chinese cooking, cupcake decorating. Italian pizza making, pamper sessions and fine dining all have their place in the programme.
Local participating restaurants will also be running a special ?feastRen fortnight festival menus? promotion. More details on this shortly!
